However, there is a huge scope for improvement in existing metro operations in terms of automation. The existing metro systems are manually operated and, in a way, prone to human errors or faults, causing accidents and are inefficient in terms of accuracy, fuel consumption, comfort, safety and security. The proposed system aims to develop a prototype and eliminate the need for drivers by making it autonomous.
