Semiconductor requirements for the distribution system of the Future
This paper looks at the state of today's US power distribution system and introduces the applications and technologies that will be deployed in the Distribution System of the Future. The role and requirements of semiconductors as an enabling technology for Distribution Automation is outlined using several practical examples.
