This gathered intelligence could include decisions. It may be a bank wishing to determine the average house price in a neighbourhood or it may be a botanist looking for areas of invasive plant infestation. Often the person with the knowledge or expertise to make such decisions does not have the time to drive through a specific area so it would be beneficial if this process could be automated. This paper describes the DBI model (Drive-By intelligence) which explains how this can be automated.
