Seiring dengan meningkatnya kasus COVID-19, penyebaran informasi yang keliru (infodemik) di tengah masyarakat juga ikut meningkat. Usaha penanganan COVID-19 akan semakin sulit untuk dilakukan dengan adanya infodemik tersebut.Tujuan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kekeliruan informasi tentang COVID-19 yang beredar terhadap perilaku penduduk Kelurahan Titi Kuning dalam menghadapinya. Metode. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini berasal dari penduduk Kelurahan Titi Kuning, Kecamatan Medan Johor, Kota Medan, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode consecutive sampling sebanyak 100 sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dengan mengumpulkan penduduk di satu tempat kemudian membagikan kuesioner langsung dan meminta subjek penelitian untuk mengisinya. Hasil. Sumber informasi COVID-19 bagi responden yang terbanyak berasal dari sosial media (26,5%) dan internet (25,8%). Jumlah kekeliruan informasi COVID-19 tergolong sedang (59%). Perilaku penduduk di Kelurahan Titi Kuning terkait COVID-19 tergolong baik (72%).Kesimpulan. Tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara kekeliruan informasi (infodemik) tentang COVID-19 terhadap perilaku terkait COVID-19 pada penduduk di Kelurahan Titi Kuning, Kecamatan Medan Johor, Kota Medan.ABSTRACTBackground: Along with the increasing cases of COVID-19, the spread of misinformation (infodemic) in the community has also increased. With this infodemic, efforts to deal with COVID-19 will be increasingly difficult.Objective: This study aimed to determine the relationship between misinformation about COVID-19 circulating and the behavior of the residents of Titi Kuning Village in dealing with it.Method: The method used in this study is an analytical study with a cross-sectional design. The population and sample of this study came from residents of Titi Kuning Village, Medan Johor District, Medan City, North Sumatra Province. Sampling collection used a consecutive sampling method with 100 samples. This study used primary data by collecting residents in one place, distributing direct questionnaires, and asking research subjects to fill them out.Results: The most sources of information on COVID-19 for respondents came from social media (26.5%) and the internet (25.8%). The number of misinformation on COVID-19 is moderate (59%).
