The circuit simulation is done by Cadence Virtuoso Analog Design Environment using SCL 180nm CMOS process. Simulation results shows that the VCO achieves tuning range of 150% over the range of 508 MHz to 3.56 GHz with the phase noise of −126 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset frequency.
