This procedure utilizes wave interference phenomenon to cancel out the source wave by another wave or lessen the total response peak values in the propagation zone. Since the apparatus that produces the counter wave needs a limited space so that it suits the urban built-up situation. However, the precise functioning/ manipulation of the apparatus is required to get satisfactory results.
