Therefore, this paper summarizes the current situation, challenges and possible future development direction of the new power system. Firstly, the definition of new power system is explained. Then, as the main component of the new power system, the “source-grid-load-storage” architecture is introduced. Then, it discusses the elasticity of the new power system and the development status of the electricity market.
