113例银屑病患者采用SUP联合0.1% - 0.3%木质素碱治疗。贺利氏生产的灯用于48例患者(Psorilux 3060)和65例患者(Psorilux 5050)。第一个改善症状在7-10天后可见。平均治疗时间为4周。在46%的患者中，银屑病爆发完全消失，另外44%的患者观察到有相当大的改善。用大功率灯照射的患者和接受较多照射次数的患者获得了较好的结果。仅2例出现严重副作用。选择性紫外光疗是治疗银屑病的一种有效方法。
