This paper presents a study of braille image recognition for beginners. The outcome of this study is expected to translate a braille image patterns into a readable alphabet text. A technique of Bag of Features (BOF) is proposed for the recognition of the braille image. On the other hand, the image classification is done using a Support Vector Machine (SVM) technique. Seventy-eight of braille images is tested.
