A comprehensive understanding of the forward scattering of radar signals at the rotor of a wind turbine
Based on an analytical description by Fresnel-Kirchhoff formula the dynamics of forward scattering of Wind turbine (WT) rotor is analyzed. This method is significantly faster than investigations by measurement or 3D numerical field simulation.
