This report presents the case of a traumatic haematobilia in a child. Possibilities to achieve safe diagnosis are discussed and suggestions for treatment are considered. In the case presented here, occlusion of the arteriobiliar shunt is effected by means of a rejectable balloon catheter according to Serbinenko.
