Cazuri ale criticii literare romanesti contemporane. Anii ’60

The paper deals with the specific problems of Romanian literary critics during the 60`s of the last century. Immediately after the harsh socio-political period of the early communist regime in Romania (1948-1964), a more relaxed censorship allowed Romanian writers to rediscover their pre-communist genealogy and to allow themselves to look at the new literary productions coming from the West. The literary criticism followed this dual trend. As a consequence the field was divided into several categories, mostly following the lines imposed in this particular area by the new French literary school. The structural tension between the old school and the new trends will generate an intense debate but also a spectacular birth of a generation.
