The power system data is taken at different time periods under various fault conditions and voltage sag/swell both are mitigated from the real time data by using D-STATCOM. When Grey Wolf Optimization technique is associated with D-STATCOM, it has shown more efficient results for voltage sag/swell. Later, a FACT controller device called UPQC has been used to overcome the same problem of voltage fluctuation in distribution system.
