This study focuses on what factors influence seating preferences in smart classrooms. We selected a typical smart classroom layout and a questionnaire method was used with 84 valid participants in a smart classroom. The logistic regression analysis method was executed and used to analyze the individual seat selection preference characteristics and explore the factors influencing the individual's seat preference in the smart classroom. We found that age and intrinsic motivation could predict the preference for distance from the podium, while expected performance can predict the preference for distance from the center in a smart classroom.
