La terapia sexual relacional. Reflexiones sobre el abordaje de la sexualidad adulta en la consulta del psicoterapeuta. Resultados del Estudio-Sex

The importance of adult sexuality in society and in our daily lives is undeniable and even more so when difficulties appear that make it difficult for us to enjoy it and make us suffer. We suspect, based on our clinical experience and our own data (EPIFEAP study), that in the consultations of the psychotherapists with whom we collaborate, the demands of the patients do not include these sexual dysfunctions very often. In this article we ask ourselves some questions in this sense and we use the data from the Estudio_Sex to reflect and elaborate some answers and hypotheses. We also explain the type of sexual psychotherapy we use in our practice.
