Due to Interval type-2 fuzzy sets can handle uncertainty of linguistic variables in a more flexible and precisely way than Type-1 fuzzy sets with their fuzzy membership functions, a fuzzy ANP method with interval type-2 fuzzy sets is proposed to evaluate the enterprise technology innovation ability. A new ranking method based on the centroid is applied in processing relationships between interval type-2 fuzzy sets.
