Estimation of radiated emissions from multiple cables and connectors
Based on the transmission cable theory, a theoretical model of power cable radiation emission is proposed. Considering the transfer impedance of cables and connectors simultaneously, the current distribution of the outer shield layer of the cable is calculated by the Green function, and the electromagnetic field of any observation point is calculated by the principle of mirroring in this model. The prediction of multiple cables radiation emission is realized. The model is verified by experiments, and the results show that the two are highly consistent. Furthermore, according to the radiation limit, the algorithm is implemented to deduce the requirement of transfer impedance reversely, which plays the significant role in engineering.
