Self Calibration of Tokamak Electron Temperature Measurements by ECE
A new method to perform the absolute calibration of the electron temperature (Te) measurement from electron cyclotron emission is presented. Advantage is taken of the difference in the intense plasma emission (Te ≈ 107 K) at two cyclotron harmonics. The use of a low intensity reference black-body (Tr < 103 K) is eliminated.
