Using integer linear numerical programming for the purpose of building a mathematical model that achieves optimal hospital management by providing the best medical services to hospitalized patients at the lowest financial costs.

In this paper an integer programming model was built to obtain an optimal utilization of the available medical resources(human and equipments) in the emergency department in Al-yarmouk hospital. According to model results a plan can be implemented for ministry of health to help the management of al-yarmouk hospital to distribute the available resources in an optimal manner to achieve an optimal medical service to the people who need this medical service.
