The concept of antenna selection is considered a tradeoff between performance and complexity to achieve better performance. First, this work presents three-antenna selection algorithms to maximize channel capacity in correlated MIMO systems with antenna selections. In our scheme, we assume that the receiver picks the best subset antenna for given Rr receive antennas that can guarantee capacity maximization. The receiver has access to the channel state information (CSI), while the transmitter does not.
