The dimension of the antenna is 70mm×70mm×0.787mm. The capacitive coupling slot of 15mm×0.3mm is located in the middle of the ground plane. Simulation results in Ansoft HFSS indicate that its 10 dB impedance bandwidth is 2.95 GHz from 22 GHz to 24.95 GHz, the maximal peak realized gain is 18 dBi at 24.4 GHz and 3 dB gain bandwidth is 2.15 GHz from 23.03 GHz to 25.18 GHz with broadside radiation patterns at 24 GHz.
