LABYRINTHS OF PROFESSIONAL MYTH: THE INFLUENCE OF UNDERGROUND IMAGES ON MINING MYTHOLOGY

There are several reasons for addressing the problems of mining mythology. The first of them is that in the modern information situation there is an active expansion of the space of imagination, part of which are the plots of myths. New myths are being created, partially accepting, but to a greater extent distorting the principles of organization of the mythical world. The second reason concerns the problems of social mythology, where professional mythology has special features. The third reason makes us pay attention to the mining mythology, which has common features for different regions of the world, but, most importantly, has an exceptionally strong influence on the mentality of the miners.
