A proposal to increase renewable generation to obtain a smarter electricity mix
This paper proposes a way to promote wind energy in countries that have not developed a considerable percentage. To get results, a calculation methodology based on levelized cost of energy is proposed, and then an incentive through payment for firm energy of wind farms. By introducing forms of renewable generation, the system is diversified, resulting in a smarter electricity mix.
