GENESTEM: A novel approach for an Arabic stemmer using genetic algorithms
We use genetic algorithms and pattern matching to generate a morphological analyzer for Arabic verbs. Our approach consisted of developing general verb patterns and then applying these patterns to derive morphological rules.
