Significant differences in CAIMT in the right (P = 0.001) and left (P = 0.001) arteries were recorded between the two groups. The mean serum OPG in the beta-thalassemia group was significantly higher than the control group (3.9 ng/ml and 1.4 ng/ml, respectively, P=0.001). \nConclusion: CAIMT is a non-invasive method for diagnosing atherosclerosis. 摘要

背景:动脉粥样硬化是-地中海贫血重症患者重要的心血管疾病。本研究旨在预测乙型地中海贫血儿童动脉粥样硬化的相关因素。材料与方法:以36例重度-地中海贫血患者和36例健康儿童为对照组进行横断面研究。比较两组间颈动脉内膜-中膜厚度(cait)和骨保护素(OPG)。结果:病例组和对照组患者的平均年龄分别为13.5±3.7岁和13±3.1岁。两组右、左动脉CAIMT差异有统计学意义(P = 0.001)。-地中海贫血组平均血清OPG显著高于对照组(分别为3.9 ng/ml和1.4 ng/ml, P=0.001)。结论:CAIMT是一种无创的动脉粥样硬化诊断方法。根据两组间的显著性差异,血清OPG可用于重度β -地中海贫血早期动脉粥样硬化的诊断。
