In this paper, we design and implement a smart home service middleware (SHSM) to support service integration and intelligent service invocation. SHSM implements a hierarchical structure and a complete service management framework which effectively integrates and operates heterogeneous service resources. SHSM constructs a rule driven application trigger scheme to automate application workflow for smart space environment.
