One of the most effective methods of solving both short-term and long-term problems of the region is to attract investment. To obtain them, it is necessary to constantly modernize the region, a sufficient level of infrastructure development, stable introduction of high-tech products. The novelty of the study is the obtained integral indicators of investment security of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The analysis of the studied indicators allowed us to identify the main threats and risks to the investment security of the Republic of Bashkortostan, which are associated with a low level of development of the scientific and technical sphere of the region, a high degree of depreciation of fixed assets, low investment growth rates, which indicate a decrease in the investment security of the region and its investment attractiveness.
