With expanding population, the demand of electricity is increasing, adjustments of load problems and to manage them is additionally an increasing task. This area of study clarifies about an interconnected system where load-frequency behavior is controlled using Automatic Generation Control (AGC). To demonstrate the adequacy of the approach the analysis of two cases have been illustrated. First case deals where the load addition was under maximum power generation limit and in other case, it surpassed the maximum power generation limit. The execution is made by the use of PID controller with Multiband (MB-PSS) and Generic(G-PSS) power system stabilizers which increase overall dynamic behavior of the system effectively.
