The Kalman filter algorithm was used to process the noise information of the digital magnetic compass that appears in the device. It is shown that under conditions of uncertainty of the probabilistic characteristics of the noise component when measuring the signal, the Kalman filter algorithm provides an enhanced filtering quality.
