Square shaped internal cloak having homogeneous and nonsingular material parameters
Square shaped internal cloak having homogeneous and nonsingular material parameters has been designed by dividing the cloak geometry into several triangular and rectangular regions. In each sub-region first order coordinate transformation functions in the cartesian system are used to map the fields in the hidden region to the cloak layer. The material parameters are non singular throughout the cloak geometry and are homogeneous within each sub region. The proposed approach illustrates a design procedure to reduce the dynamic range of constitutive material parameters without compromising the cloaking performance. Material dynamic range is reduced by mapping a small square in the virtual space to concealed volume in physical space.
