The conducting composites can also be used for the dissipation of static charge. The conducting composites show a shielding effectiveness in the range of 20 dB to 60 dB depending upon the loading of the conducting polymer in the thermoplastic matrix. The characterization of the conducting polymer was carried by thermogravimetric analysis, spectroscopic techniques.
