The results show that the sensitivity is distinct with that of the diffusion approximation in the region of about one transport mean free path, and optimum source-detector distance where the sensitivity to scattering parameter equals zero differs from the diffusion approximation's too.This optimum source-detector distance is found shortened when a medium has bigger scattering coefficient or bigger absorption coefficient.
