Medical support has to be extended to anyone in need during normal condition or situation of emergency, this clearly emphasis the importants of connecting doctors and patients is the need of hour. By the introduction of a smart heart monitoring system with zero waiting time, the doctors may tackle the emergency situation of the patient. This paper reviews various smart heart monitoring systems and its impact on improving the health of a patient. We summarize the application field, architecture, parameters measured, their advantages and disadvantages of the health monitoring system.
