A wideband phased array with low profile geometry is presented in this paper. The antenna element consists of the stacked patches antenna fed by the printed meandering probe. The feeding mechanism compensates the inductances caused by the conventional probe, and the printed circuit technology conduces to the integration. In the array, the metallic posts and walls are periodically arranged around the antenna cell, which provide the solution to eliminate the scan blindness in the operation band. The simulated results of the periodical infinite array show the center element has an over 40% bandwidth (active VSWR<2) within ±60° scan angle and good radiation patterns.
