A data flow driven software architecture of open and distributed virtual instrument system
To implement an open and distributed software architecture in a virtual instrument system, taking the example of the autonomous decentralized system concept, a data flow driven software architecture is proposed in this paper. This new approach can be mastered simply, run with high efficiency, and be expanded or extended easily. As network technology is developing rapidly and is applied more and more widely, a simple software architecture running in a network environment is of great practicability. Primarily, both the network technique and object-oriented technique are taken into account. Some of the advantages of this method compared to other methods are given also. An application of this approach in an exact sample is discussed.
