The design employs a slotted rectangular patch fed by a 50 ? micro strip line. The bandwidth is increased by cutting some rectangular slits on the ground plane. The antenna is designed on a small size ground plane (25 mm x 30 mm) and is simulated by a full wave electromagnetic simulator IE3D, a software package of Zeland.
