We make use of the management information model of the TMN in the method of modeling the user service data of the IN service. We take the user service data as the managed object, the service management function (SMF) as the managing system and the SDF as the managed system respectively. By the CMIP-like operations between the SMF and the SDF, we implement a service independent configuration, retrieval, modification and deletion of the user service data.
