The aim of this article is to evaluate the article by Zai-yang Liu et al. titled Direct Anterior Approach in Crowe Type III-IV Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip: Surgical Technique and 2 years Follow-up from Southwest China, published in the Orthopaedic Surgery in April 2020 and titled Surgical technique and case series of total hip arthroplasty with the Heuter anterior approach for Crowe type IV dysplasia, published in The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery in November 2020, by Viamont-Guerra et al. [1,2].
