THE GLOBAL RAW MATERIALS COMPLEX AND CHINA’S 14TH FIVE-YEAR PLAN

The article analyzes the features of the new stage of globalization in the world mining complex: deepening specialization, increasing concentration, sectoral unevenness, increasing government management, accelerating convergence, the cyclical nature of the global conjuncture. Since China is a leading player in the globalization in the global mining complex, the assessment of the 14th five-year plan adopted for 2021–2025 becomes important. The result of the implementation of the 14th five-year plan of China will be a sharp increase in demand for metals, for raw materials for their production, for food resources and, accordingly, a cyclical increase in world prices for all raw materials.
