With growing access to digital media, ownership rights are very critical. We propose an algorithm for watermarking of digital audio content using spread spectrum and singular value decomposition for copyright protection. It is desired to find an optimal balance between the inaudibility of the watermark and its robustness while embedding and extracting the watermark.
