The manuscript is dedicated to the history of the Dragoon Life Guards Regiment, its participation in the battles of the Russo-Turkish war of 1877-1878, and history of the Russian Guard. On the basis of printed sources, brief information is given on the history of the Dragoon Life Guards Regiment from the moment of its foundation until 1964, as well as the main combat episodes in the history of the regiment are charachterized.
