Silicon waveguide TE0/TE1 mode conversion Bragg grating for constituting a resonator device
We report a mode conversion Bragg grating using silicon waveguide to attain strong diffraction. Grating structures using sidewall grating and photonic crystal type are described. By incorporating a resonator structure, a narrow transmission peak can be obtained. Structures for suppressing the unwanted diffraction into the same mode are also discussed.
