Different countries  have applied different techniques to enhance VAT collection. Likewise, the UAE government has  introduced VAT and its collection is challenging for them. One of the key issues that has been  observed in the literature is that support services are limited, and the staff appointed for collection  is incompetent and require proper training. Similarly, the managerial role at the same time cannot  be ignored. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to identify the mediating role of managerial  performance between staff competence, support services and VAT collection performance. For the  said purpose, primary quantitative causal research has been conducted using adopted  questionnaires. The findings of the study are based on structural equation modeling technique and  contributed to Economic Theory of Tax Compliance by identifying the mediating role of  managerial performance. 摘要

增值税征收是世界上几个国家政府的一个主要问题。不同的国家采用不同的技术来加强增值税征收。同样,阿联酋政府也引入了增值税,征收增值税对他们来说是一个挑战。在文献中观察到的一个关键问题是支助服务有限,被任命负责收集的工作人员不称职,需要适当的培训。同样,同时也不能忽视管理的作用。因此,本研究的目的是确定管理绩效在员工能力、支持服务和增值税征收绩效之间的中介作用。为此,本文采用问卷调查的方法进行了初步的定量因果研究。研究结果基于结构方程建模技术,并通过确定管理绩效的中介作用,为税收合规的经济学理论做出了贡献。这项研究对从业人员了解提高员工能力和提供支持服务对提高增值税征收的重要性同样重要。
