The results show that ECDSA is more suitable to generate the signature and RSA is more suitable to verify the signature on mobile devices. The experimental results are presented to show the effectiveness of each algorithm and to choose the most suitable algorithm for SMS digital signature. Next, we propose a new algorithm for digital signature based on ECDSA.
