摘要

本文提出了一种基于等腰三角形分割的彩色图像压缩新方法,利用RGB分量间的相关性和分形图像压缩算法。本文的编码过程由两个步骤组成:根据RGB之间的相关性将彩色图像转换为灰度图像和基于等腰三角形分割的分形图像压缩。与基于Jacquin的分形彩色图像压缩方法相比,本文提出的方法由于使用等腰三角形分割大大减少了搜索时间而具有更好的性能。仿真结果表明,该方法可以有效地减少编码时间,提高压缩比,同时保持检索图像的质量。

Fractal Color Image Coding Based on Isosceles Triangle Segmentation
