Moreover, how to extend the object attributes of OSD standard to achieve this strategy is also introduced. 摘要

基于对象的存储设备(object-based storage devices, OSDs)被广泛认为是一种有前途的存储标准,近年来它的发展如火如荼。本文提出了一种新的资源分配框架来实现OSD存储系统的负载均衡。与传统的被动调度请求的研究相比,我们利用对象存储目标(OST)的智能生成本地资源信息,并结合元数据服务器(MDS)合成的全局信息来实现负载均衡和性能调优。为了实现这一目标,提出了一种动态调整策略,通过MDS和OST计算资源相关因素,指导每个OST调整数据分布,并指定哪个OST处理一个新的请求。此外,还介绍了如何扩展OSD标准的对象属性来实现这一策略。实验结果表明,该方法能较好地平衡各ost之间的负载。
