Parents can provide motivation, attention and also support for children during learning activities. This study aims to analyze the role of parents in student learning and analyze what are the inhibiting factors for the role of parents in student learning. After the data was collected through field observations, interviews and documentation, the data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. This study uses primary data sources obtained from parents of students. While the secondary data source is obtained through the classroom teacher. The results showed that the role of parents in motivating learning can be seen from their roles as mentors, facilitators and motivators. As a facilitator by providing learning tools such as learning places, textbooks and stationery and providing facilities to develop children's talents and interests. As a motivator by motivating children by rewarding children's learning achievements by giving gifts and words of praise.
