Pemberian Komunikasi, Informasi dan Edukasi sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja pada Pekerja Tahu

Industri tahu memiliki berbagai macam potensi bahaya. Bila tidak dikelola dengan baik, potensi bahaya dapat mengganggu keselamatan dan kesehatan pekerja. Pekerja harus mengetahui bagaimana cara mengelola potensi bahaya tersebut dengan tepat. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keselamatan dan kesehatan pekerja tahu agar keselamatan dan kesehatan mereka senantiasa terjaga. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode participatory community service. Sebanyak 40 pekerja berpartisipasi dalam pengabdian ini. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pekerja sangat antusias dalam mendiskusikan potensi bahaya pekerjaan di industri tahu. Pekerja dapat mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya dengan tepat. Pekerja juga antusias dalam mendiskusikan cara mengelola potensi bahaya tersebut. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penyuluhan dapat meningkatkan awareness pekerja terhadap bahaya. Dan pekerja juga dapat menjelaskan bagaimana pengendalian bahaya di industri tahu tersebut. ABSTRACTThe tofu industry has various potential hazards. If not managed properly, potential hazards can interfere with the safety and health of workers. Workers must know how to properly manage these potential hazards. The purpose of this service activity is to improve the safety and health of tofu workers so that their safety and health are always maintained. This service uses a participatory community service method. A total of 40 workers participated in this service. The results of the service activities showed that workers were very enthusiastic in discussing the potential hazards of work in the tofu industry. Workers can identify potential hazards appropriately. Workers are also enthusiastic in discussing how to manage these potential hazards. It can be concluded that counseling can increase workers' awareness of hazards. And workers can also explain how to control the hazards in the tofu industry
