Materials and Methods: The study was carried out in the department of pedodontics in two dental colleges of Bangalore city. The children in the age group of 8 to 15 years along with the caregivers, speaking either English or Kannada were included in the study. A questionnaire was used to measure three domains of child′s oral health related quality of life - functional limitation, emotional well-being and social well-being. Results: Total of 377 dyads were recruited in the study for which the correlation coefficient (r) varied between r = 0.21 and r = 0.46 for child and caregiver report of child′s oral health related quality of life (P < 0.05). 摘要
目的:评价儿童与护理人员对儿童口腔健康相关生活质量报告的一致性。材料与方法:本研究在班加罗尔市两所牙科学院的儿科学科进行。年龄在8到15岁之间的儿童以及说英语或卡纳达语的照顾者被包括在研究中。采用问卷调查的方法对儿童口腔健康相关生活质量的三个方面——功能限制、情绪健康和社会健康进行了测量。结果:共纳入377对夫妇，儿童及照顾者报告儿童口腔健康相关生活质量的相关系数(r)在r = 0.21 ~ r = 0.46之间变化(P < 0.05)。结论:儿童与照顾者之间存在低至中等水平的相关性。
