CTF based control algorithm is used for extraction of fundamental load active and reactive power components of load currents which are used for estimating the reference source currents. This algorithm requires only multipliers, low pass filters and summers so it is simple and fast. A DSTATCOM is developed and its performance is tested using a DSP.
